Pizza rolls:  Homemade pizza rolls are super easy to create and your kids will want to help out.  You'll need...

  • Phyllo dough
  • Your favorite pasta sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Sliced bell peppers, pepperoni, mushrooms or whatever else you want to add.

Simply lay the dough out flat and coat it with pizza sauce, cheese and the toppings you want. From there you can just roll it up and slice the pieces out into smaller pizza rolls.  These cook quickly and are ready to eat in minutes.  Preheat your oven, place these on a buttered backing pan and set the temperature to 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.  Just be sure to flip them over halfway through the baking time to be sure it's cooked through.

Mini pulled pork sliders:  This is yet another relatively easy recipe to pull together.   You'll need:

  • Pork butt seasoned with salt and pepper
  • Sauce of your choice such as barbeque
  • Cole slaw lightly dressed with a dressing of your choice
  • Soft rolls

You can put the pork butt in the oven for 2-4 hours - depending on the size of the pork you purchased - on low heat.  The bigger the cut of meat the longer it needs to cook in the oven to break down the meat making it tender.

Once the pork is thoroughly cooked (check with a thermometer for an internal temperature of 160 degrees) remove it and pull it a part with your fingers or with two forks.

Once the meat is separated you can mix in any kind of sauce you like to additional flavor.  Then, get your rolls out, lay them open and layer some Cole slaw on the rolls before adding the pulled pork.  These will be ready to serve in no time and they'll be gone just as quickly!

Goat cheese apricots: Start with halved apricots and fill each of them with a small ball of goat cheese placed on top.  Drizzle honey over them and add chopped pecans on the top to create a delightful texture and a tasty appetizer.  Guest will enjoy the delightful flavor of these tasty appetizers.

  • Place these in the oven to lightly warm the goat cheese (or cheese of your choice).
  • Serve immediately once they're removed from the oven.
  • Alternatively, you can refrigerate them and serve them cold if you want to try out a different presentation.

These party finger food recipes are fairly easy and quick to do.  They're also relatively inexpensive so you can get more bang for your buck while being sure to feed a crowd of family and friends.
