Frequently Asked Questions

In an effort to save you time, I've compiled this list of frequently asked questions that come to me by email, voicemail and when I'm at parties.  I hope this answers your questions, and if they don't, shoot me an email and I'll get back to you.

1. How do I book Hooray Balloons Kids Entertainment for my event?

  • Give me your party details
  • I'll email you within 24 hours with pricing and availability
  • We can chat over the phone to be sure we're both synched on what you want
  • No need to take notes because I'll email a summary of our conversation
  • I'll email you a PayPal invoice for the 20% deposit and once that's paid your date is reserved.  The date is not booked until the deposit is paid.

2.  How do I pay for my event?

I use PayPal to send you an invoice for a 20% deposit.   Once received, your event is booked and the balance is due in cash or check on the party date.

3. What if I (Client) cancel the party just before my scheduled date?

So far this has not happened to me (knock on wood!), but if you need to cancel for unforeseen reasons, all deposits will be returned to you.

4. What if You (Hooray Balloons Kids Entertainment) cancel attendance at my event?

I cannot predict the severity of the weather, vehicle problems, family health issues or other emergencies that could reasonably prevent me from attending your event, but I will provide as much notice as I can for you to make other arrangements.  The responsibility rests with you, however, to locate another service provider for your party.

5.  Do you charge by the hour?

Not usually because I find 2-hour party packages are preferred by my clients.  On a very rare occasion I may take a one-hour booking and only when it's local.

6.  Do you charge a travel fee?

No and yes!  Sorry if that's confusing, but there is no charge if your venue is local to Vallejo.  If you're event is outside Vallejo and has a bridge toll, I charge the IRS rate of 0.54 per mile plus toll if applicable. 

7.  Do you pay referral fees?

I provide a gift card to clients referring friends and family to me.  This is my way of showing goodwill for your trust and confidence in my services.

8.  Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, I have a business license with the City of Vallejo and I have business insurance.  Please let me know if your event requires a Certificate of Liability and I'll provide you with one.

9.  What areas do you serve?
